In addition to the core staff at Wood Lodge Nursing and Residential Home a number of other professionals may be involved in your care to ensure the well-being and health of all of our guests, and are available for advice and support as necessary.

We like to think of Wood Lodge as a happy place to live and our team love nothing more than putting a smile on the face of our guests. Although we understand the importance of structure in the lives of our elderly guests we also know that each of our guests will have individual preferences and individual tastes so we try to make our activity program as varied as possible in order to cater to these preferences.
We also offer a range of nursing home therapies, delivered by our highly trained care assistants, which have been specifically designed for people with dementia and other memory conditions.
Hairdressing Services
Our hairdressing salon is open every day from 9.00 am, when a care assistant, will set hair for a resident on request. Every Monday, from 9 am to 4.00 pm, we have a hairdresser available for cuts, sets and perms etc.
